In the afternoon Carlos Primo Braga from the World Bank reported that full merchandise liberalization would bring $ 280 billion per year by 2015 , 60 % of which wuld be from agriculture.

Negotiators are working against a deadline of mid-2007 when the US executive branch will lose its Trade Promotion Authority (TPA), which has thus far at least theoretically enabled it to get deals through Congress more easily.
